Greenery Aglow Styled Shoot at Drumore Estate
It was such a treat to participate in the Greenery Aglow inspiration shoot at Drumore Estate organized by my friends Brittani of Brittani Elizabeth Photography and Amanda of A Styled Fete. The shoot, which was featured last fall on Ruffled Blog, was created with an all green and white color palette and relies on textural florals by Wild Flowers By Design, classic jewelry from L. Priori Jewelry, and a delicate lace gown and veil from BHLDN to create a soft and romantic atmosphere.
Amanda said, "When developing the inspiration for this shoot we knew that it was important for us to really embrace a venue that has history and a great and inviting outdoor space. This project was largely influenced by the natural and organic. I wanted to create a shoot with very rigid color constraints so that the vendor team could go wild exploring other design elements like texture and lines. Embracing natural was important to me while developing this project; emphasizing natural textures, natural body shapes and of course the brilliant natural environment of the grounds at Drumore Estate. Drumore Estate has the most beautiful gardens, with a full-time garden staff that makes it look spectacular!
Ever Laser created a beautiful laser etched acrylic invitation and Flora-ly provided pressed ferns that were sandwiched between the acrylic sheets to pull the natural textures into even the invitations!
One of my favorite contributions to the shoot was this delicate gold calligraphy bouquet ribbon. This is a wedding trend that I hope sticks around for a while because it adds such a personal and romantic element to the day.
"Nothing says romance quite like the twilight hours with soft candles and twinkling market lights. The escort display was lit up under the market lights with dripping candles as the sun softly set over the horizon. The result was a magical shoot that showcases an adorable real-life couple whose chemistry is as electric as those market lights!" -Amanda
"Instead of encouraging the normal ceremony set up in the gardens, we decided the cake would be the perfect accent to an already beautiful area. Guests would be able to mingle at cocktail hour and admire the beautiful cake from The Baker’s Table. The cake itself was decorated with fern leaves and fit right into the natural setting. Trousseau Style helped create the perfect look for our bride, bridesmaid, and groom. From the leaves woven into the updo to the jewelry from L. Priori Jewelry, the couple looked seamless. We decided that it was important to have a real couple as the bride and groom because of our focus on the natural elements. We wanted to make sure the couple felt natural and organic to match the rest of the project." -Amanda
This escort card display paired gorgeous pressed flowers by Flora-ly with the simple modern calligraphy escort cards in a beautiful wooden case lined with hunter green velvet. Swoon...
