Amy & Craig - Mid-Summer Wedding at Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion
On these short cold days of Winter, I like to imagine that it’s that other time of year–when the air is warm enough for bare arms, the trees are in full bloom, and wedding season is at its peak! Amy and Craig were married on just such a day.
These two said their "I do's" at the Woodend Sanctuary and Mansion in Chevy Chase, MD in mid-July. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony was lovingly captured by Kir Tuben Photography.
I am a relentless sucker for bold bright colors (if you hadn't already noticed) so it's no surprise that I adore the blooms Amy chose for her bouquet. Those cheery sunflowers were the perfect match for her ear-to-ear smiles.
Amy and Craig chose our Live Oak Tree design because it reminded them of the gorgeous old oak trees on the grounds at Woodend Sanctuary. Their charming outdoor ceremony site was tucked under a tree-lined grove and the light filtered perfectly through the canopy.
Take a look Craig's dance moves!
I am so grateful to Amy and Craig for including us in their wedding ceremony. Hopefully, their ketubah continues to remind them of the love and joy they felt on their special day.
