The ketubah that started it all
This weekend, my husband and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. We celebrated with a wonderful evening out in New York- dinner at Basso 56 followed by an incredible performance of Cabaret at The Kit Kat Club with Alan Cummings and Michelle Williams. It was one of the best nights we've had, just the two of us, since our daughter was born last year!
So lately I have been reminiscing about our wedding and all the things that we have accomplished in the last five years- selling an old house and buying a new one, relocating from Baltimore to Peru, back to Baltimore and then to Philadelphia, he completed his PhD and I my MFA, new jobs and of course the birth of our daughter.

It's been a productive, fulfilling and very fun first five years for us! This morning my husband gave me an incredible compliment. He told me how proud and inspired he is that I have started Tallulah Ketubahs. This project has been something I have been talking about for a few years, since I made the cedar tree and peacock ketubah for our wedding.
That first ketubah was the seed that would grow into this new business. I am so lucky to be using my talent in this very meaningful way. And I am especially grateful to have had such a supportive partner in this new venture. Thank you, Morgan for believing in me and encouraging me to pursue this dream.
Here's to many many more years of fun and adventure together, my darling!
