This design was inspired by the intricate geometric tile mosaics of the ancient Mediterranean region. It features 18 orange blooms - 18 is the numerical value of the Hebrew word “chai” which means “life" so this design is a joyous celebration of life in bloom. The original was hand-painted using high-quality designer gouache.
It is available for purchase as a 10" x 10":
