Ordering Process

When you place an order with Tallulah Ketubahs for a Ketubah, Wedding Certificate or Parents' Gift, you are ordering a one-of-a-kind item that needs to be customized. Even orders for Archival Giclée Prints, which have a previously made border, contain text that is unique to your purchase.

Customization

Once we have received your order, you will be sent an order confirmation email with a link to a customization form. This customization form will provide space for you to choose your Text Option or provide us with your own original text, choose your Font Option, provide us with your English and Hebrew Names, Parents' Names, Dates, Locations and any other personalizations you'd like to make to your text. We can also produce prints or hand-painted borders without text if you would like to have original calligraphy hand written by someone else. For all one-of-a-kind orders, your credit card will not be charged until your customization form has been returned.

Text Options

I offer a variety of text options including Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Secular, Same-sex, Anniversary, English only, Hebrew only, Quaker wedding contract & custom text that you provide. Read our English Ketubah Text options. Read our Parents' Gift Text Options.

Reviewing and Revising Your Proof

After we have received your completed customization form, we will prepare your text and then generate a proof for your review and approval. Please review carefully (with your with rabbi or officiant if appropriate), and notify us of required edits as soon as possible. Be sure to review all spelling, personalized information, and formatting before you approve. Once we receive your approval, we will proceed with production of your order.

IMPORTANT! You are responsible for finding and reporting any errors before approving the proof. We are not responsible for errors that are printed as they are approved.

The Final Product

Our Archival Giclée Prints are created using Epson 9600, 9800 and 9880 presses using Epson UltraChrome and UltraChrome K3 pigmented inks. These high density pigmented inks offer rich, vibrant color, enhanced durability and lightfastness, and color stability that is rated to resist fading for over 80 years. The pieces are printed on natural white, smooth fine art papers. Each one is numbered and signed in Limited Editions that vary per design.

With our Hand-Painted Originals your custom text is archivally printed and your custom illustration is hand-painted using the highest quality designer gouache paint directly on beautiful Arches 100% cotton rag paper. Each hand-painted piece is entirely unique.

We recommend that after signing and displaying your ketubah or wedding certificate at your wedding, that you have it professionally framed behind UV resistant glass to protect your piece from fading over the years.

Included in your Order

Your ketubah, wedding certificate or parents' gift purchase includes an archival giclée print or hand-painted original and a backing of acid-free foam core. Ketubah and wedding certificate orders come with an archival black ink pen for signing and will be wrapped in crystal-clear mylar ready to display at your wedding.
